Understand exactly how to win your bid, with guidance from bidding experts

If you’ve ever been faced with a must-win bid and wished you could phone a friend, here’s your chance.

In a 1:1 online workshop, we’ll tackle your bid with you, page by page, giving you a roadmap to success.

In a 1:1 online workshop, we’ll:

  • Give you a step-by-step walkthrough of your procurement documents, so that you know exactly what to do to win your bid
  • Go through your top scoring questions and guide you on how to approach them, so you can avoid confusion and score top marks
  • Share our expert advice on how to approach and write the best response, so you can successfully articulate your response to the buyer.

Plus, if there’s a specific topic you want to focus on, let us know when you book and we can target the workshop to meet your needs. For instance, clients often come to us with queries about social value and environmental/sustainability responses, areas that are continuing to grow in importance.

Getting started on the right foot is critical to your bid success. If you misinterpret the documents, you could end up in an unsalvageable position close to the submission deadline. It’s like the analogy made famous by James Clear in Atomic Habits: “Imagine you are flying from Los Angeles to New York City. If a pilot leaving from LAX adjusts the heading just 3.5 degrees south, you will land in Washington DC instead of New York. Such a small change is barely noticeable at take off – the nose of the airplane moves just a few feet – but when magnified across the entire United States you end up hundreds of miles apart.” It’s worth doing your due diligence at the start of a bid to make sure you’re on course.

We can help you:

Bid managers/bid leads – You’re ready to contribute to your company in a big way, and that starts with winning this work. You may feel the weight of responsibility on your shoulders, but you’re not alone. Speak to our senior writers in a 1:1 workshop and they will bring their perspective on how to write a winning bid, will help you create win themes, and will advise on a writing approach for large and complex bids. Alternatively, they can help you phrase a particularly tricky question, taking a weight off.

Small business owners – If you know you can do the work, but can’t work out how to win the bid, we’re here to help. Think of the workshop like a fast-track training session, guiding you through how to respond to a tender. Don’t waste any more time getting confused by requirements or question wording: our senior bid writers will jump in and walk you through the bid, question by question, document by document, advising you on the best approach at each stage.

“I recently consulted Kittle Group for advice on bidding for a tender, I spoke with Bryony who was extremely helpful and arranged a call with Alan, who then went through all the paperwork with me. As a growing company Alan’s advice was invaluable and helped me better understand the tender processes and what parts I needed to fill out. I would definitely use their services again for future tenders.”

MD of local cleaning company

“Sam and Christian were able to get through a large volume of technical information very quickly which is testament to the IQs of the Kittle team. They delivered on time, in full, and there was excellent visibility and communication throughout. This made it feel like we were all part of one team.

Even if we had not been successful, the investment in working with Kittle would have been worth it for the pointers and general advice we were given about how to approach and structure complex, sizeable bids, the likes of which are turning points for start-ups like us.”

Deep Tech Start-Up

“The session with Sam was extremely valuable. Concise and well delivered it kept everyone engaged and was perfectly positioned for seasoned business development managers and directors, to junior team members and bid writers. As a large, well established organisation, the insights into the bidding process, and frank discussion around how we, as a business, could improve were exactly what we needed. We have already seen a distinct improvement in the results of our bid work”
